| In 2008, he obtained the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and then stayed in the school as faculty until now. From 2013 to 2014, he went to the CURENT Research Center of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville for postdoctoral research work.
He is the Member of IEEE PELS and PES. Member of the Power Quality Special Committee of China Power Supply Society. Director and Deputy Secretary of Shaanxi Power Supply Society. Executive Director of Xi'an Power Supply Society.
In recent years, as the PI or co-PI, he has completed 6 national projects and more than 20 enterprise cooperation projects.
He has published more than 60 EI and SCI retrieval papers, authorized more than 10 Chinese patents and 1 American patent, and co-authored 1 textbook, 2 monographs, 1 industry standard of the Ministry of Machinery Industry and 2 group standards of China Power Supply Society.
He has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award once, the first prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award once, the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Power Supply Society once, the highest award of teaching achievements in Shaanxi Province once, and the teaching competition in Shaanxi Province.
